Let The Good Times Roll(Feel So Good) - Bunny Sigler - 1967
As a 12 year old growing upin the Philadelphia area, I remember listening to Bunny Siglers' Let The Good Times Roll(Feel So Good), on Philly's soul station, WDAS. The jocks played it to death and as an emerging soul music fan, this song made a big impression on my 12 year old self! Philly native, Bunny Sigler, had recorded several singles as a solo in the early 1960's and written for other artists as well before releasing this medley cover version of two old Shirley and Lee hits, Let The Good Times Roll and Feel So Good. The result was a #20 Billboard spot in the summer of 1967. Sigler would go on to record, write and produce numerous Philadelphia based artists over the next two decades, cementing his well earned reputation as one of the architects of Philly Soul.
