How to Get Movie Maker in Windows 10

04 Mar 2021

In this video tutorial, I will show you how to get Movie Maker in Windows 10. If you’ve upgraded to the Windows 10 operating system, you will notice that you no longer have Windows Movie Maker which is a very useful and easy-to-use video editor.

This is because Movie Maker is no longer supported in Windows 10. However, you can still download it from the Microsoft website (see download link below). I’ve installed it on my Windows 10 machine and it works great. There are other video editors available in the Microsoft Store, however, I’ve not found one that I like compared to Movie Maker.

You will find a couple of new features in the latest version of Movie Maker like the Wave Form which allows you to see the audio as a wave form on the timeline. The other new feature is the Video Stabilization which helps in reducing the shakiness in videos footage.

- Buy Windows 10 Home at Amazon:
- Download Windows Movie Maker at (phased out):
- Windows Movie Maker (Unofficial Download Site):

Windows Essentials 2012 came to the end of support in January 2017. So, if the above download link doesn't work, you can try the one below instead. Please note that it's not an official Microsoft website though, so download at your own risk:
